Pakistan has become one of the larger cement exporters in the world, recently it was ranked 5 th. Approximately 10 million tons of cement was exported, 3 million of it to Afghanistan.

The major exporters are:

• Lucky Cement-Lucky brand
• Attock Cement- Falcon brand
• Al Abbass (part of Javedan and Thatta cement group)
• Maple Leaf Cement
• DG Khan Cement-Elephant brand
• Other smaller factories

Anchor Shipping & Trading (Pvt) ltd has recently opened a cement trading desk to provide seamless services in this trade. We can procure products from many mills and arrange the logistics and shipping in one window for any reputable buyer.

Payment will be directly to the exporters account in advance or through sight L/C with a first class bank.

Our objective is to ensure that buyers are well informed about the reliability, current production schedule and financial compliance of the major suppliers in Pakistan. Unfortunately several international buyers have paid advances or opened L/C’s only to find that supplies are not forthcoming due to shipping issues or financial default of suppliers.

We can arrange the main qualities:

• Ordinary Portland Cement 42.5 n :2 day strength 18-20
• Sulphate Resistant Cement
• OPC low alkali (<=.6)

Lucky Cement has a dedicated terminal in Karachi Port for bulk loading and can achieve the highest loading rates. Our logistics department can arrange bagged and bulk shipments, depending on the parcel size.

SGS testing can be arranged as required.
